Biodiversity, hunger and
climate changes: CGIAR and the role of agricultural research |

Description: |
This seminar was organized for
stakeholders in Norway to reflect on the current development of CGIAR and
agricultural research in light of Professor Salvatore Ceccarelli's experience
with participatory plant breeding in Syria and other countries. Ceccarelli's
projects were carried out under ICARDA, and thus an important question was
whether lessons could be drawn for the future development of CGIAR. Professor
Ruth Haug from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences made an introduction
to the seminar on the context of the topic. |
