THE FARMERS' RIGHTS PROJECT:

Side Event on Farmers' Rights at the Second Session of the Governing Body

At the Second Session of ITPGRFA's Governing Body in Rome 29 October - 2 November 2007, a side event entitled "Realization of Farmers' Rights and the role of the Governing Body" was organized, presenting the outcomes of the Lusaka informal international consultation process on Farmers' Rights, as well as an input paper to the the Governing Body from the governments of Norway and Zambia.
